| Just curious. At what point will you finally decide that gas prices ate just too high and you can't afford to take the boat out? I'm sure it has already decreased the number of trips alot of us make. Gas jumped from $3.61 to $3.69 in the time it took me to go to Pensacola and back today. It's kind of strange though if you think about it. The media says "gas prices will hit $3.00 in the next week" and it does. "Gas prices will reach $3.50 in the next week" and it does. Gas prices will be $4.00 a gallon in the next week" and it will

I'm not cutting back on my fishing although I have thought about trying to pull my boat with a bicycle to save some gas.

As gas prices go up I just make adjustments to the boat to conserve more fuel. IE,I have the enclosure and bimini top off now and out for repairs so I ran the boat yesterday and noticed conciderable fuel savings and performance due to less drag. Might keep it like that for the run out or until the top of my head catches fire from the sun. Sucked with the wind the way it was yesterday though!

| Up until this year, If we wanted to dive, the wife and I would take our boat out even if we had to go by ourselves. This year we have decided to go only if we have two others with us who are willing to share expenses. At just over 2 miles to the gallon, dive trips are getting just too expensive.
