| It's been very tough this year. Unless things have changed in the past couple of weeks, they are very hard to come by.

| I have not had a problem finding sand fleas, but I have had problems finding Pompano! I have fished many more hours this year but have not caught as many as I did each of the past two years. -- I have had to work a bit for them though. Seems that the beach restoration done in Walton and Okaloosa County made the sand a lot harder and compacted. I have had better luck in spots where the sand is softer. Most of April the fleas were pretty small, had to put multiple on a hook. But they have been growing and now I am finding bigger ones.

Buy a rake, its well worth it. Fleas are abundant now.
Get the fish, get the fish!!
